Today is a exciting day for me because I get to review the Full Rack of 38x Dell! I am long time electronics writer, blogger and reviewer Xavier Vela and you might know me from some of my other reviews. I've written for example about the Fujinon GF250mmF4 R LM OIS WR Lens by FUJIFILM and the Dell PowerEdge M1000e Chassis with 16x M630 Blade Server, Per Blade (1x Xeon E5-2696 V3 2.3GHz 18 Core, 768GB DDR4, S130, 2X 1TB 7.2K SATA 2.5 Drives, 10GbE), 6X 2700W PSUs (Certified Refurbished) by Dell or maybe you have heard of the editorial piece I did on the LG OLED77W9PUA 77" W9 Signature OLED 4K HDR Smart TV w/AI ThinQ (2019) + Microsoft Xbox One X 1TB + Deco Mount Flat Wall Mount Kit + Wireless Keyboard w/Touchpad +6-Outlet Surge Adapter w/Night Light. Anyway, I have quite a lot experience trying out electronics and recommending only the best to my readers. Therefore I was really happy when this product came on my path.
Introduction
I am really happy to finally be reviewing the Full Rack of 38x Dell and writing1 this review for you guys for I've been using Dell products for over 8 years now and I was really excited when I found out they came out with the Full Rack of 38x Dell. Of course I looked where I can get it the cheapest, and I always find it on this website. This time it was the deal from Amazon (The deal can be bought here.) and I saw it was the best deal on the internet. So I didn't think twice and and ordered it there. Luckily for me at Amazon they had same day delivery and free shipping so I didn't have to wait long for my package to arive. When it did, I couldn't wait to open it and finally see my brand spanking new Full Rack of 38x Dell. I immediately saw it had totally been worth the wait. On the chance of sounding quite a bit biassed being a longtime Dell fan, this product really crushes its competitors, which you can feel immediately when opening the package. I feel like I know enough about the Full Rack of 38x Dell to write this review after testing it for a couple of days now. So keep reading and I will show you why I am so happy with my new Full Rack of 38x Dell.
Summary
I always start my reviews about electronics with a summary, then a clear list of the pros and cons after which I'll give my rating and conclusion. So as you may have understood from the intro, I am blown away by the Full Rack of 38x Dell. Dell has really outdone itself on this one. The quality is great, and frankly; it just looks awesome. I know aesthetics aren't everything with electronics, but it just needs to be said. Of course the price I got at Amazon was and is unbeatable so make sure to check them out when you decide to buy one yourself. As I have tried many alternatives before, I really got to say they are no match for the Full Rack of 38x Dell. Just the functionalities alone beats all competitors and the durability also seems to be top notch. The customer service of Dell2 is famous for being really generous so if you ever run in to any kind of problem with their products they're always really lenient with finding a solution. Long story short; not much negative to say about the Full Rack of 38x Dell Rack PowerEdge R620 1U Servers, Xeon 2.4GHz E5-2630L v2 456 Cores, 9.5TB DDR3, PERC H310, 300TB SATA 6Gbps 2.5" SSDs, Rails, 2X 10GbE TOR's, 2X APC PDU's (Certified Refurbished) really. Make sure to read to the end tho because you might be in for a small surprise!
Pros
This pros list of the Full Rack of 38x Dell could be much longer, and is way longer than the conslist, but the description3 this site has will probably already say it all. Here is just a little piece: "System: Full Rack Cabinet of 38x Dell PowerEdge R620 1U Servers with Arista TORs & IPMI Switches
Processor: Per Server: 2x Intel Xeon E5-2630L V2 2.4GHz 6 Core 15MB Cache Processors
Memory: Per Server: 256GB DDR3 ECC Registered Memory (16 x 16GB)
Controller: Per Server: Dell PERC H310 6Gbps SAS/SATA RAID Controller (0 1 5 10 50)
Hard Drive Bays: Per Server: 10x 800GB SATA 6Gbps 2.5" Solid State Drives". So without further ado, this is the very much incomplete list:
- The amazing looks.
- The quality is great.
- It is everything it promises to be.
- $100713.99 is just a steal comparing to the alternatives.
- There is no brand like Dell when it comes to electronics.
- The durability is very nice, so better for the environment.
- In this price range, no other product coming out will be matching the Full Rack of 38x Dell for a long time to come.
Cons
I had a tough time thinking of cons for the Full Rack of 38x Dell. Better prices are of course always nice and I don't know if you actually need this luxurious quality4. That's a thing only you can figure out for yourself. However, the list:
- Maybe the aesthetics of the product are not your style.
- It's a premium product so chances are you don't need this abundance of quality.
- The Full Rack of 38x Dell is loved by a lot of professionals so soon everybody will probably have one.
Rating
You won't be shocked after everything I said before that I'm giving the Full Rack of 38x Dell Rack PowerEdge R620 1U Servers, Xeon 2.4GHz E5-2630L v2 456 Cores, 9.5TB DDR3, PERC H310, 300TB SATA 6Gbps 2.5" SSDs, Rails, 2X 10GbE TOR's, 2X APC PDU's (Certified Refurbished) 100/100, an A+ and 5 stars5. People in other reviews I've seen online sometimes say that Dell can never top the success of this product and maybe they're right, but maybe we can just dream ahead and see what they come up with next. So let's just enjoy the Full Rack of 38x Dell while it's hot!
